The Evangelist Shiraz
The Evangelist is a precious embodiment of the Barossa’s heart – a tiny blend of Old Vine Shiraz from three jewels of vineyards in celebrated sub-districts.
The Prophet Shiraz
Known as the little brother to our old-vine Evangelist, The Prophet is a single vineyard Shiraz made up of fruit from several blocks on our estate Resurrection Vineyard in Ebenezer.
Block 3 Shiraz
Our Block 3 Shiraz utilises 1935 plantings, from the deep, vibrant-red Ebenezer dirt of our Resurrection vineyard, to create a soulful and powerful expression of Barossa old vine Shiraz.
Block 8 Shiraz
Block 8 Shiraz showcases the spectacular 100-year-old-selection Maywald Clone, planted in our Resurrection vineyard located at the highly regarded Ebenezer sub-region of the Barossa Valley.
Prayer Garden Grenache
The small Grenache block on our Resurrection Vineyard is planted to ‘prayer garden’ selection Grenache which blew Phil away with its fruit concentration and vibrancy, following the 2016 vintage.
PL Eden Valley Chardonnay
A complex and elegant Chardonnay that benefits from Phil Lehmann’s unique winemaking techniques; reverse fermentation, allowing part of the blend to undergo malolactic fermentation before the alcohol ferment.
Blood & Courage Shiraz
Blood & Courage is St John’s Road’s interpretation of quintessential Barossa Valley Shiraz. Power with elegance. Full and generous primary fruit flavours skillfully interwoven with oak characteristics from maturation in French Barriques and Hogsheads.
The Resilient Grenache
The latest addition to the St John’s Road range – sourced from four vineyards located around the mid-to-northern part of the Barossa Valley and made in a medium-bodied, bright and fresh style.
Line & Length
A wine that is true to its name; lines of structure and tannin combined with length of palate. Depth of flavour from Barossa Valley fruit is combined with striking varietal character from some cooler climate Eden Valley components. All seamlessly integrated with the subtle influence of maturation in French oak.
Grenache Mataro Shiraz
When combined, the Motley Bunch of Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz produce a blend that is far greater than the sum of its parts. The result is a stylish and elegant wine style, which has become as synonymous with the Barossa Valley as Shiraz.
Peace of Eden Riesling
The cool climate of the elevated Eden Valley sub-district of the Barossa is renown for producing some of Australia’s greatest dry Rieslings. Peace of Eden is grown on an old south-facing vineyard in one of the best Riesling growing sites within the Valley.
Gee Whiz Tram Driver
Gee Whiz Tram Driver is a fresh and vibrant blend of Gewürztraminer and Riesling sourced from the highly elevated, cooler climate of the Eden Valley. The vines are effectively sheep pruned to minimise intervention, before being fermented in stainless steel to maintain those fresh fruit notes.
Lagrein Shiraz Durif
LSD is a electric blend of Lagrein, Shiraz and Durif sourced from three sub-districts within the Barossa region. Following harvest the parcels were fermented separately, spending between 7–12 days on skins, before being pressed to a combination of French oak Hogsheads and Barriques for 20 months maturation.
Resurrection Aged Tawny
Our syrupy and warming Resurrection Aged Tawny is comprised of several blends, some dating back as early as 1950. Parcels of Pedro, Dolcetto, Shiraz and Grenache, from the rich red soils of the Barossa Valley, have been aged in premium oak to create a complex and luxurious drink.
